How to Play Six Card Golf With Two Players
Six Card Golf works especially well with two players because turns move quickly and each player can follow the other's grid and discard choices.

Use one standard 52-card deck without Jokers. Deal six cards face down to each player and arrange them in two rows of three. Each player turns two cards face up without looking at the other four.
Place the remaining deck face down as the stock. Turn the top card face up beside it to begin the discard pile.
Taking a turn
On your turn, draw the top stock card or take the visible discard. If you take the discard, you must swap it for one card in your grid. If you draw from the stock, you may replace a grid card or discard the drawn card.
A replaced grid card goes face up on the discard pile. The new card in the grid is placed face up.
Ending and scoring the hole
When one player has all six cards face up, the other player receives one final turn. Reveal any remaining hidden cards, apply matching-column cancellations, and total the card values.
Write down both scores and deal the next hole. A traditional game lasts nine holes, although three holes make a good quick game.
