How to play Trash / Garbage
- Deal ten face-down cards to each player in two rows of five. The spaces represent Ace through 10.
- Draw a card and place it in the matching numbered position.
- Continue with the face-down card you displaced, placing it when possible.
- Use Kings as wild cards. Jacks, Queens, duplicates, and unusable cards end the chain.
- Win the round to play with nine positions next time. The first player to complete the final Ace-only round wins.
Trash / Garbage strategy tips
Take the discard only when it immediately fills an open position.
Put a wild King in a stubborn face-down position, then replace it if the exact numbered card appears later.
Watch how many positions Finn has left. When he is close, even a small guaranteed play becomes valuable.
